Your profile powers your search. Resume upload and email job alerts are optional. We do not sell personal information, automatically send your resume to employers, or use it to train external AI models.
1. Scope and responsibility
This policy covers personal information processed for Diligent Apply by Vijay Girishchandra Kulkarni, sole proprietor trading as Diligent Growth. We are responsible for deciding how information is used for this service. Contact Vijay@Diligentgrowth.com or +91 84079 59709 for privacy questions.
This policy covers the Diligent Apply service under www.diligentgrowth.com, including account, search, credit, notification and support features. It does not describe every separate Diligent Growth recruitment service or the independent practices of linked employers and job platforms. Creating an account does not enrol you in a separate staffing database or authorise sharing your profile with employers for recruitment.
2. Information we collect
| Category | Examples and use |
|---|---|
| Account and eligibility | Email address, verification status, account identifier, adult eligibility confirmation, policy versions accepted and account status. Used to authenticate access, enforce eligibility, secure accounts and record your choices. |
| Profile and search preferences | Name, confirmed employment history and experience, optional company details, target roles, skills, locations, work modes and industry preferences. Used to prepare searches and explain relevant matches. |
| Optional resume | The PDF or DOCX you upload and extracted text or field suggestions. Used to help you complete a profile, subject to your review. Manual entry is available. |
| Search and account activity | Search inputs, times, results, scores, saved or manually marked Applied items, schedule settings, spend consent and caps, notification choices and setting-change records. Used to operate your account and avoid repeat or unauthorised work. |
| Transactions | Package and credit quantities, amounts, tax and invoice details, payment references, status, ledger entries and dispute evidence. Checkout may require a phone number or other billing information. Used to verify payment, issue records and reconcile errors. |
| Technical and security information | Request and error records, timestamps, IP address and browser or device information where received by our infrastructure, session identifiers and essential cookie data. Used for authentication, reliability, abuse prevention and incident investigation. |
| Communications | Messages you send, necessary attachments, complaint references and delivery or suppression status for service emails. Used to respond, deliver opted-in alerts and maintain reliable support. |
We receive account verification information from our authentication provider and payment status from the enabled payment provider. We also retrieve hiring content from third-party sources. Such content may contain a poster’s name, public business contact information and source URL; we limit its use to presenting the relevant opportunity and handling content concerns.
Please do not submit Aadhaar or PAN copies, bank credentials, health or biometric information, passwords, or other sensitive information unnecessary for a job-discovery profile. Remove unnecessary personal details from a resume before uploading. Any payment-provider identity checks are governed by that provider’s own notice.
3. Purposes, permissions and optional choices
We use necessary information to provide the features you request, authenticate and protect your account, retrieve and match opportunities, account for authorised spending, process transactions, respond to support requests and comply with applicable legal obligations. We use consent where applicable law requires it, and other permitted grounds only where they apply. We do not rely on your acceptance of general terms as blanket consent for unrelated processing.
Uploading a resume is optional. Search scheduling and its spending authorisation are separate choices from email job alerts. You can use manual profile entry, leave schedules disabled and opt out of alerts. Declining information necessary for a particular feature may prevent that feature from working; we will explain the requirement at collection.
Resume extraction and relevance matching use bounded programmatic rules. The service does not send resumes to an external AI model or use them to train external AI models. You review extracted suggestions before saving. Matching assists discovery and does not make an employer’s hiring decision.
We do not sell or rent your personal information, use behavioural advertising or session replay, or run email open or click tracking for job alerts. We do not send your resume to recruiters or submit applications on your behalf. A new, unrelated use would require a separate notice and consent where required.
4. Service providers and other disclosures
We share only information needed for the relevant function with contracted service providers, subject to appropriate confidentiality, security and processing restrictions. Some providers also process information independently for their own legal or security duties, as explained in their notices.
- Authentication — Clerk: account identity, email verification and session information.
- Hosting and database — Render: application records and operational processing; the selected primary hosting region is Singapore.
- Private storage and network services — Cloudflare: temporary private resume objects, request handling and security information. R2 placement does not provide an India-only residency guarantee.
- Opportunity retrieval — Apify: bounded search inputs such as role keywords, experience and work-mode preferences, and provider-run records. We do not send your raw resume or account contact details as job-search inputs.
- Service email — Resend, and Clerk for authentication: recipient details and necessary message content, delivery and suppression information.
- Payments: the enabled checkout provider receives required billing and payment information. We retain transaction references and status rather than your full card credentials. The provider and its privacy notice must be identified at checkout before you pay.
- Monitoring, backup and support: approved providers and authorised personnel receive limited records needed for reliability, recovery or responding to your request; private resume content and credentials must not be included in diagnostic logs.
We may disclose relevant information where lawfully required by a competent authority, to investigate fraud or protect legal rights, or to advisers bound by confidentiality. If the business is transferred, any necessary transfer of personal information must remain subject to applicable law and appropriate notice and safeguards; it is not permission to repurpose your data without limits.
Information may be processed outside India by these providers. We apply applicable transfer restrictions and appropriate contractual safeguards; we do not promise that all data remains in India. Contact us for information about recipients relevant to your request.
5. Cookies, browser storage and links
Essential cookies and similar storage keep you signed in, protect requests, preserve necessary preferences and support account security. Authentication and infrastructure providers may set their own essential identifiers. After an account-deletion request, a limited status cookie may remain for up to 90 days to let you check deletion and reconciliation status without restoring account access.
You can clear or block cookies in your browser, but sign-in or other essential features may stop working. This service does not currently use advertising cookies or optional audience-tracking tools. If optional tools are introduced, we will update this notice and provide any required prior choice.
Opening an employer or source link sends you to a third-party website. That site may receive technical information from your browser and apply its own privacy and cookie policies. Information you submit there is outside our application process.
6. How long information is kept
We retain information only for its stated purpose and the applicable period below, subject to narrowly required legal preservation. A retention period is not permission to keep unrelated personal information.
| Record | Retention |
|---|---|
| Raw resume uploads | Deleted immediately after successful extraction; failure or abandoned-upload paths are cleared within 24 hours of upload. |
| Abandoned extraction suggestions | Discarded after 24 hours. Confirmed profile fields become account data; reviewed or replaced suggestions are managed with their profile workflow. |
| Account profile and active settings | While needed to provide your active account, or until correction, replacement or account deletion, subject to the rules below. |
| Raw source payloads | 7 days. Minimal verified fee evidence may be separated and kept with required financial records. |
| Search history, unmarked delivery snapshots, unreferenced normalised source items and activity records | 90 days. Account deletion can shorten operational retention. |
| Saved and Applied items | A minimal source and score snapshot remains until you remove the mark or delete your account. |
| Routine diagnostic logs | 30 days, subject to a specific, lawful security-preservation requirement. |
| Financial and invoice records | Retained for the applicable statutory tax, accounting and payment-record requirements, and for any legally required dispute or preservation period. |
| Required audit and security evidence | Retained while needed for security, audit, dispute resolution or applicable legal obligations; records are restricted to those purposes. |
| Support correspondence and complaint records | Retained while needed to resolve your request or complaint and any related dispute or legal obligation. |
| Restricted backups | Retained until overwritten under the backup rotation schedule. Expired copies are rotated out; deletion instructions must be reapplied before restored data is returned to ordinary use. |
When a legal hold applies, we restrict the affected records to that purpose and remove them when the basis ends. Financial and audit retention must be minimal, with unnecessary contacts and profile details removed. A limited hashed identity-revocation record may be retained to prevent delayed system events from recreating a deleted account; it is not used for marketing.
7. Your choices, requests and account deletion
You can review or correct your profile and preferences, disable future scheduled searches, change alert settings, or unsubscribe using the email link. Alert opt-out does not stop scheduled spending; disable the schedule separately. Essential security, payment or account-lifecycle messages may still be sent where necessary.
You may request information about your data, correction, withdrawal of consent, erasure or account deletion by writing to Vijay@Diligentgrowth.com. State the request and account email. We verify identity using proportionate information and do not routinely require government-ID copies. If a request cannot be fulfilled, we explain the reason and available escalation. Where applicable law provides additional rights, including nomination or a complaint to a designated authority, we facilitate them when in force.
Withdrawing optional consent stops the corresponding future processing; it does not make earlier lawful processing unlawful or cancel necessary statutory retention. If consent essential to a feature is withdrawn, that feature may no longer be available.
An accepted account-deletion request immediately blocks new work and disables future schedules and digests. Operational personal information, including the authentication identity and private upload objects, is removed within 30 days. Pending payment reconciliation does not extend that operational deletion deadline. Legally required minimal financial and audit evidence may remain separately restricted under the approved retention schedule.
Before confirming deletion, review any ordinary non-refundable unused credits and the explicit forfeiture confirmation. Outstanding legally required refunds remain reviewable after deletion. We do not treat deletion as a waiver of consumer rights.
8. Safeguards and incident handling
Our safeguards include encrypted transport, private file storage, access controls, limited administrative permissions, bounded file processing and redaction of private content from logs. We restrict access to people and providers who need it for the stated purpose and maintain procedures for handling incidents and restoring service.
No online service can promise absolute security. If a personal-data incident occurs, we will investigate, limit its effects, and notify affected individuals and competent authorities where required by applicable law. Contact support promptly if you suspect account or data misuse; never include credentials in an incident report.
9. Children and information about other people
Diligent Apply is for adults aged 18 and over in India. We do not knowingly provide child accounts. If you believe a child has supplied information, contact us so we can investigate and remove or otherwise handle it as required.
Upload your own resume and only information you are entitled to provide. Avoid including referees’ private details without permission. If your information appears in a retrieved public hiring post and you have a privacy, accuracy or removal concern, send the source URL and your concern to support; we will assess the request and any necessary source follow-up.
10. Privacy grievances and changes to this policy
For questions about this policy, requests or complaints, contact Vijay@Diligentgrowth.com. Our designated escalation contact is:
Grievance Officer: Vijay Girishchandra Kulkarni
Email: Vijay@Diligentgrowth.com
Consumer complaints will be acknowledged within 48 hours of receipt and redressed within one month. If further information is needed, we will explain what is required and keep you informed; this does not extend any mandatory legal deadline. You may contact support using the details above while requesting escalation to the Grievance Officer.
We handle personal information under applicable Indian law, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and applicable rules, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and its Rules as their provisions come into force. Statutory rights and authority-specific procedures apply according to their effective dates. Our contact and request process is available now.
We publish the effective date and version when updating this notice. Material changes will be brought to your attention through the service or registered email, with a renewed choice where required. A policy update alone does not authorise a new unrelated use of information previously collected.
