Ordinary unused purchased credits are non-refundable and do not expire. Technical search failures trigger credit restoration; duplicate charges, overcharges and legally required refunds are handled separately.
1. Who this policy covers
This policy applies to Diligent Apply credit purchases and search charges supplied by Vijay Girishchandra Kulkarni, sole proprietor trading as Diligent Growth, GSTIN 29HTAPK1816G1ZP. For help, email Vijay@Diligentgrowth.com or call +91 84079 59709.
Diligent Apply is a digital job-discovery service. No physical product is shipped or returned. This policy forms part of our Terms & Conditions and does not limit remedies available under Indian consumer law.
2. Ordinary unused credits
Once a credit purchase is successfully confirmed, ordinary unused credits are non-refundable. They do not expire while your account remains available under the service terms. Buying the wrong quantity, changing your mind, no longer needing searches or obtaining a job does not normally entitle you to a refund.
This rule does not apply to duplicate captures, overcharges, deficient or unprovided services where a remedy is legally due, unauthorised transactions established through the applicable review process, or other legally required refunds. We will not use a “no refund” label to refuse a valid statutory claim.
Before paying, review the package available to you, credit quantity, net price, applicable tax, final INR total and non-refund disclosure. A purchase does not guarantee any number of results, interviews or offers.
3. Search outcomes and credit restoration
| Outcome | Treatment |
|---|---|
| Total technical search failure | All held credits are restored. If the free search was used, its entitlement is restored. |
| One source completes and another technically fails | Only successfully completed source work is charged; the remaining reservation is released. A completed partial free search consumes its entitlement. |
| Completed search with no qualifying matches, filtered items, duplicates or previously seen results | Completed retrieval work remains chargeable within the accepted maximum. A completed empty free search consumes its entitlement. |
| Final charge below the reserved maximum | The unused hold is released to your available credits. |
| Unverifiable source cost when the search closes | The unverifiable amount is waived; it is not debited later after closure. |
| Email alert not delivered after search results are available | The results remain accessible in your dashboard. Email non-delivery alone does not reverse completed search work; a wider service-deficiency claim remains reviewable. |
Credit restoration corrects the service-credit balance; it is not a cash refund to your bank. It does not replace a cash refund where one is legally required. If the balance looks wrong after a search settles, send us the search reference for review.
4. Failed, pending, duplicate or incorrect payments
Failed or abandoned checkout: credits are not issued for an unconfirmed payment. If your bank shows a debit, keep the bank and payment reference and contact support. The provider may reverse a failed debit or confirm a delayed success. We reconcile the actual payment rather than asking you to pay again while its status remains unclear.
Successful payment, missing credits: we verify the captured payment and order. A valid purchase should receive its credit grant once. If we cannot provide the purchased service, we will arrange an appropriate refund or another remedy you are entitled to accept.
Duplicate capture or overcharge: we investigate the original order and payment references and correct an established excess collection. Verification protects against duplicate reimbursements; it does not remove your right to a valid refund.
Suspected unauthorised payment: notify us and your bank or payment provider promptly. Do not send full card details or security codes. You may use the provider’s dispute process; contacting us does not waive it.
5. Stopping searches, schedules or your account
There is no recurring subscription or automatic top-up to cancel. Disable scheduled searches in settings to stop future automated admissions. Turning off email alerts alone does not stop searches or their credit use. Already admitted work may still complete and be charged within its accepted maximum; stopping a schedule does not reverse completed retrieval.
Deleting your account stops new work and requires explicit confirmation of any remaining ordinary non-refundable credit forfeiture. Deletion does not cancel a genuine payment error or a statutory refund claim. If we permanently discontinue a paid service or cannot honour prepaid service, we will explain available remedies and provide any refund required by law.
6. How to request a review or refund
Email Vijay@Diligentgrowth.com with the subject “Diligent Apply — Payment or refund review”. Please include:
- Your registered account email and order or search reference, if available.
- Payment date, amount and the bank or provider transaction reference.
- A short explanation of the issue and the remedy requested.
- A redacted receipt or screenshot only if needed to identify the transaction.
Never include an OTP, UPI PIN, password, CVV or full card number. We will not ask you to approve a payment or scan a QR code to receive a refund. We may request proportionate information to confirm ownership and avoid fraud.
Please report issues promptly so records can be located. No short reporting window in this policy extinguishes a claim available under applicable law.
7. Review, approval and payment of refunds
We acknowledge consumer complaints within 48 hours and redress them within one month. We will explain the outcome, any verification needed, the amount approved and the basis of a refusal. Complex provider reconciliation does not suspend mandatory legal deadlines.
Accepted payment refunds are initiated without undue delay, within a reasonable period and any shorter period required by law or the applicable payment rules. We communicate the initiation date, reference and expected provider or bank processing time. The time until funds appear depends on the original payment method and provider; we will help trace a delayed refund rather than guaranteeing an unverified bank timeline.
Refunds normally return through the original payment route. If that route is unavailable, an alternative is arranged only after appropriate verification and in accordance with payment rules. We do not replace an approved cash refund with promotional credits without your agreement. Necessary invoice or tax adjustments follow applicable requirements.
8. Escalation and your statutory rights
If you disagree with a decision or need escalation, ask for the Grievance Officer and include your existing complaint reference.
Grievance Officer: Vijay Girishchandra Kulkarni

Consumer complaints will be acknowledged within 48 hours of receipt and redressed within one month. If further information is needed, we will explain what is required and keep you informed; this does not extend any mandatory legal deadline. You may contact support using the details above while requesting escalation to the Grievance Officer.
You remain free to approach the National Consumer Helpline, your payment provider, a competent consumer commission or other authority. This policy does not exclude relief for unfair trade practices, service deficiency or other non-waivable rights. Updates apply prospectively and do not reduce remedies attached to an earlier transaction.
